Singleton Mathews is a criminal-defense attorney, who has successfully represented hundreds of clients charged with serious crimes, including drug and gun possession, trafficking, homicide, and incarcerable traffic crimes. Before founding Client First, Singleton was Of Counsel to a local solo practitioner, handling matters involving the investigation and defense of major felonies in venues throughout Maryland. For three years during his legal training, Singleton worked in the Baltimore City State's Attorney's office, where he gained valuable insight and experience in the inner workings of that office and developed strong relationships with people there. Singleton is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law and Towson University. After law school, Singleton served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Colleen Cavanaugh, Circuit Court for Baltimore County. Singleton proudly serves as a Captain in the National Guard.
